Mr Magic (aka John Rivas) passed away last Friday 02/10 at the young age of 54.  He was credited with launching and hosting the first all-rap radio show in the US called ‘Rap Attack’  in 1983 in New York.

He has been recognized  by all rappers that have since followed in his footsteps.

And this weekend, White Noise remembers him, with fond memories of some of the best tracks that came out of the 80’s with Dave’s own Mr Magic mash up.
